At the table

Game night, without the cleanup

Everything you love about a round of dice with friends, rebuilt for VR: real hands, real voices, and a table that keeps the rules for you.

  • Dice cups and white dice scattered across a purple felt table.

Real cups. Real dice. Real nerve.

Grab your cup, shake it and slam it down. Every roll is physical and every hand is hidden, so the only thing anyone can read is your face.

  • Players' avatars around a table on a rooftop above a neon city.

    Bring your friends

Open a private room, invite friends or share a code, and let bots fill any empty chairs.

  • Talk across the table

Positional voice chat puts every voice where that player sits, and you can mute anyone.

  • Two Meta Avatars seated at the table in a warm, wood-panelled room.

    Sit down as you

Play as your own Meta Avatar, with your Meta username on your chair.

  • A narrator calls every bid

A table narrator announces each bid, doubt and result in English or Spanish, so you never lose the thread.

  • The floating bid panel: quantity, dice faces, direction and a Raise button.

    Bid with a flick

Pick a quantity and a face on a floating panel. The table keeps the rules, wild aces and all.

  • First-person view looking down into a dice cup, with the player's name tag showing four dice.

    Peek when nobody’s looking

Check your hand under the cup whenever you like. Nobody else at the table can see it.

  • Learn at the table

A guided tutorial walks you through Cachos one step at a time, so you’re bluffing with confidence by your first match.

  • Dice and nerve. Nothing else.

No currency, no wagers, no in-app purchases and no loot boxes. You can only lose dice.

Bots

An intelligence to defeat

Face bots on Easy, Normal and Hard. They weigh the odds on every bid, and the sharper ones study you as the match goes on: who bluffs, who challenges too fast, who cracks under pressure. A trick that works in round two may not work in round ten. Mix up your approach, and learn when to raise and when to call.

Easy

Forgiving

Plays fair and gentle. Counts the odds correctly but misjudges now and then, prefers small safe raises and rarely bluffs.

Reads the odds
Reads you
Thinks ahead

Normal

Sharp

Weighs every bid, looks a couple of players ahead and starts noticing your habits. Rewards sensible play.

Reads the odds
Reads you
Thinks ahead

Hard

Ruthless

Reads the whole table, keeps a running file on every player and adapts mid-match. It bluffs, it presses, and it won’t be fooled twice.

Reads the odds
Reads you
Thinks ahead

No peeking, ever. Every bot plays from the same information you get: its own dice, the bids and the hands revealed so far.

Rooms

Three tables. Pick your night.

Choose where the match is played when you set up the table.

The Sky Lounge: a round table with teal armchairs on a rooftop above a neon city at night.
01

Sky Lounge

A rooftop table above a city that never switches off.

The Mountain Chalet: armchairs around a table by a hanging fireplace, snowy peaks through tall windows.
02

Mountain Chalet

Snowy peaks through the glass and a fire in the hearth.

The Lodge: a lamplit room with a round table and a snowy village through the window.
03

The Lodge

Lamplight, a round table and snow on the window.

How to play

Simple to learn. Hard to read.

Bluffers is built on Cachos, the Chilean take on Dudo, the classic South American liar’s dice game.

  1. Roll in secret

Everyone shakes five dice under a cup and keeps them hidden.

  2. Make a claim

Take turns bidding how many dice of one face are on the whole table, across every cup.

  3. Raise or challenge

Raise the bid, doubt it, believe it’s exact, or pass on a protected hand.

  4. Last cup standing

Aces are usually wild. Lose a challenge and you lose a die. Keep your last die to win.

FAQ

Before you sit down

How do I buy Bluffers?

Bluffers is sold on the Meta Quest Store. Buy it from your headset, the Meta Horizon app on your phone or the store page in your browser. It’s added to your Meta account and installs on your headset.

Do I need friends online to play?

No. Play solo against bots at any difficulty, or start with the guided tutorial. When friends are around, open a private room and play together.

How many players can sit at a table?

From two to six. In a private room, any chair not taken by a friend can be filled by a bot.

Is it gambling?

No. There is no currency, betting, in-app purchase or loot box. The only thing you can lose is a die.

Do I need a microphone?

No. Voice chat makes bluffing more fun, but the game is fully playable without it, and you can mute any player.

Which languages does it support?

English and Spanish, including the table narrator. Switch at any time in the settings.

I’ve never played Cachos or Dudo. Is that a problem?

Not at all. The tutorial teaches the rules step by step, and Easy bots are patient opponents while you learn.

Your seat is waiting

Grab a cup, gather your friends and find out who at the table can really keep a straight face.
