BLUFFERS TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective date: 27 October 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Bluffers, a virtual reality game developed and published by Ridweng Studios (“Ridweng Studios,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing Bluffers, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game.
1. Eligibility
Bluffers is intended for teens aged 13 or over and adults. It is not offered to children under 13. The game does not ask for your date of birth and does not request an age category from Meta.
2. The game
Bluffers is a virtual reality dice and bluffing game. It may include:
- a tutorial and single-player play;
- private online multiplayer rooms accessed through room codes, Meta invitations or supported join links;
- Meta Horizon usernames and Avatars;
- live positional voice chat;
- player reporting, muting, and other safety features; and
- test, alpha, early-access, or preview features.
Some features require an internet connection, a Meta account, and third-party services. Online features may not always be available.
3. Licence to use Bluffers
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable licence to install and use Bluffers for your own non-commercial entertainment on supported devices.
You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, lease, distribute, or commercially exploit the game except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- modify the game or create unauthorised derivative works;
- bypass security, age, entitlement, safety, or access controls;
- use cheats, bots, exploits, unauthorised software, or modified clients;
- interfere with servers, networking, matchmaking, voice, reporting, or another player’s use of the game; or
- use Bluffers for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
No ownership rights are transferred to you under these Terms.
4. Accounts and platform services
Bluffers uses your Meta account for platform identity, entitlement checks, username, Avatar, invitations, joining rooms through deep links, and certain safety functions. Multiplayer also uses Unity services, including Unity Authentication, Relay and Vivox. The information processed for these features is described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for keeping your Meta account and device secure and for activity carried out through them. Do not share private room codes publicly unless you are prepared for anyone with the code to attempt to join.
We may be unable to restore local settings, statistics, reported-player lists, or other information stored only on your headset if it is deleted, reset, lost, or replaced.
5. Multiplayer and voice chat
Online multiplayer lets you interact with other people. Other players may hear your live voice, see your Meta Horizon username and Avatar, and observe movements needed to represent you in the game.
Voice chat is optional, requires microphone permission, and may be disabled. Bluffers remains playable without voice chat.
You understand that:
- online interactions are provided by other users and cannot be completely controlled by us;
- private room codes reduce casual discovery but do not guarantee the identity or conduct of participants;
- connection quality, host availability, platform outages, and third-party services can affect or end a match; and
- gameplay information is exchanged between participating devices as needed to run the match. The host player’s headset simulates the authoritative game state, including all hands, while each guest is shown only the private hand intended for that guest until information becomes public under the game rules.
Do not disclose personal, confidential, financial, or sensitive information through voice chat or other interactions.
6. Community rules
When using multiplayer, voice chat, usernames, Avatars, or reporting features, you must treat other users respectfully. You must not:
- bully, harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate anyone;
- use hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or severely offensive conduct;
- sexualise, exploit, groom, or endanger a minor;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- share another person’s private information without permission;
- promote self-harm, violence, terrorism, exploitation, fraud, illegal goods, or other unlawful activity;
- spam, scam, manipulate, collude unfairly, or intentionally disrupt matches;
- cheat, hack, exploit defects, or help others evade enforcement; or
- knowingly submit false, malicious, or abusive reports.
Meta’s conduct and platform rules may also apply to your use of Bluffers.
7. Reporting, moderation, and enforcement
Bluffers provides access to Meta Horizon user reporting services. You may also mute players and use other controls available in the game or on the Meta platform.
Reports may be processed through Meta’s User Reporting Inbox and related Meta systems. We may review reports made available to us and may take reasonable action, including warnings, restricting features, removing access, or referring matters to Meta or the appropriate authorities where required.
We are not required to disclose confidential moderation information, another user’s personal data, or the specific action taken in response to a report. Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular outcome.
8. Health, safety, and physical space
Virtual reality can cause discomfort, dizziness, nausea, disorientation, eye strain, loss of balance, or other symptoms. Follow the health and safety guidance supplied with your Meta Quest device.
Before playing:
- use a clear, safe play area;
- remain aware of walls, furniture, people, pets, cables, and other hazards;
- use the game’s comfort and accessibility settings where helpful; and
- stop immediately if you feel unwell, disoriented, or unsafe.
Children and teens should use virtual reality only with the supervision and safeguards appropriate to their age and circumstances.
9. Purchases, pricing, and refunds
If Bluffers is sold through the Meta Horizon Store, the price, payment processing, taxes, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Meta under the terms and refund rules that apply to your purchase.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund right or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Bluffers currently does not offer advertising, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. If this changes, we will provide any notices and terms required by law and the relevant platform.
10. Alpha, preview, and early-access versions
Test, alpha, preview, and early-access versions may be unfinished. They may contain defects, lose progress or local data, change substantially, or stop working. Features may be added, changed, reset, or removed before or after a public release.
Please report defects through the feedback or support channel we provide. Do not publicly disclose confidential test materials if access was provided subject to separate confidentiality obligations.
11. Updates, changes, and availability
We may update Bluffers to add or remove features, fix defects, improve safety, maintain compatibility, or comply with legal and platform requirements. An update may be required to continue using the game or its online features.
We do not promise that Bluffers or any online feature will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available indefinitely. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the game where reasonably necessary. Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of a material discontinuation.
12. Intellectual property
Bluffers, including its software, artwork, design, audio, text, branding, and other content, is owned by or licensed to Ridweng Studios and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Meta, Meta Quest, Meta Horizon, and related names and assets belong to Meta or its licensors. Unity, Vivox, and related names and technology belong to Unity or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to any third-party trademarks or content.
If you send us suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without payment or restriction, but you keep ownership of any rights you already hold in your original submission.
Certain prerecorded voice announcements in Bluffers were generated using ElevenLabs (https://elevenlabs.io). These announcements are AI-generated. ElevenLabs does not sponsor or endorse Bluffers.
13. Privacy and data
Our collection and use of personal data are described in the Bluffers Privacy Policy, available at:
https://bluffers.ignaciokaiserc.workers.dev/privacy/
The game also contains a “How Bluffers Uses Data” notice. Meta and Unity process information under their own privacy policies when providing their services.
14. Third-party services
Bluffers depends on services and technology supplied by Meta and Unity. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party services to the extent that their operation is outside our reasonable control, but this does not affect any responsibility we have under applicable law.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Bluffers at any time and uninstall it. You can use Settings > Privacy & Data > Clear Bluffers Data to request deletion of the Unity Authentication account used by the game and clear the specified local data after the deletion flow succeeds. Some preferences are preserved. Deletion of Vivox and other service records is handled separately as described in the Privacy Policy. Uninstalling the game does not itself delete service-side records.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Bluffers or its online features if we reasonably believe that you have materially or repeatedly breached these Terms, created a safety or security risk, used the service unlawfully, or if suspension is required by Meta, Unity, or law.
Where appropriate, we will consider the seriousness of the conduct and whether a less restrictive response is suitable. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual property, liability, and dispute provisions, will remain in effect.
16. Disclaimers and liability
We provide Bluffers with reasonable care and skill. However, subject to rights that cannot be excluded by law, we do not guarantee that the game will always be available, compatible with every device configuration, free from defects, or suitable for every individual purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights.
If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of that failure. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, for business losses arising from personal consumer use, or for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
You remain responsible for following device safety guidance, maintaining a safe play area, protecting your account, and using reasonable judgment when interacting with other users.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms when the game, our practices, platform requirements, or applicable laws change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice through the game, Store listing, website, email, or another suitable channel where practicable. Your continued use after the revised Terms take effect means that you accept them. If you do not accept a change, you must stop using Bluffers.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also retain the benefit of mandatory protections provided by the law of the country where you live.
Courts in England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable consumer law. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.
19. General terms
If a court finds part of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. Our delay in enforcing a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a reorganisation, sale, or transfer of the game, provided this does not reduce your legal rights.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly presented for a feature or test, form the agreement between you and Ridweng Studios concerning Bluffers.
